Qu'est ce que le programme NOSAÏS ?

NOSAÏS est un programme de développement du chien de dépistage médical porté par le Pr Dominique Grandjean, directeur de la LEKKAROD, Clothilde Lecoq, coordinatrice et Capucine Gallet, responsable des formations. Nosaïs a pour objectif, grâce aux professionnels de la détection olfactive, de permettre à tout chien de pouvoir mettre un jour son nez au service de la santé humaine. De développer l'utilisation du sens olfactif du chien dans le dépistage précoce de maladies chroniques prolifératives (cancers), dégénératives ou à développement progressif.

L'espoir de parvenir à standardiser l'expression pré-symptomatique de nombreuses maladies, permettant de définir pour chacun un "olfactome" assurant un dépistage ultra-précoe et peu coûteux pour la société.

Depuis 2020, NOSAÏS forme des chiens au dépistage du virus COVID-19.
